Welcome to THE pages of the International Sailing Camp CROATIA

We would like to introduce and familiarize you with the summer campus programs of our International Sailing School for children and teenagers - Sailing Camp Croatia. Unique in this part of the world the Saling Camp provides an ideal holiday for your children right in the heart of the Mediterranean - the islands of Adriatic Sea. It is a place of unspoiled nature in the protected areas of the Croatian National Park Kornati and Nature Park Telašćica.

The summer programs are designed as an ideal combination of socializing through sports (sailing and seamanship skills), education (navigation, meteorology, astronomy, ecology, marine biology) and fun (swimming, exursions, evenig programms).

Throughout the programm the children will be encouraged to develop their team spirit, to make decisions and will also be taught new and nowadays forgotten skills and values. This camp attracts children from all over the world since it is held in an multilingual environment (English, German and Croatian language).

Our summer programs are unique and as such divided into:

Sailing Kids Camp

• all sailing classes are held in the unspoiled nature of Kornati islands - National Park in the Bay of Telašćica
• Nature Park
• our children will stay in a 3 * hotel
• all programs are on All inclusive basis
• our experienced team of educators and trainers will ensure 24/7 care so that our children have all the prerequisites to enjoy a memorable vacation with their peers from around the world
  

Cruising Teen Camp

• our cruising routes, sailing and navigation takes us through Croatian National Parks and its islands bringing our teens closer to wonders of natural phenomena and to the long history,cultural and maritime heritage of this part of the world
• teens are accommodated on 50 feet sailing yachts
• all programs are on All inclusive basis
• our professional crews of skippers, educators and on board hostess are ensuring 24/7 help to our teens, to create their own, lifetime adventure

About us and how the idea for camp was born?

As a young married cuple in love with the sea we had the priviledge to enjoy sailing in our backyard – the Adriatic Sea and its islands. Eight years ago we became parents and our lives got a new dimension and a new purpose. Slowly we introduced our children (8 and 4 years) to sailing and this particular way  of life in harmony with the sea and the nature. Results and benefits were in front of us: their groving enthusiasm, curiosity, open-mindedness, independency, responsiblity and being aware of the meaning of true team spirit. As parents of urban children we can only recommend this way of life. Our children can not wait to get back and «connect» to the sea, craving to experience this familiar feeling again.

The idea was born by itself and turned into a mission to share, bring closer and provide our knowledge to other children and parents who think like us and wich have no opportunity to teach their children the art of sailing. We invite you to enjoy your stay here in this part of the world and share part of the culture and experiences with others. Everybody is welcome, because sailing is an life experience and we are focusing it on tolerance, fair play and respect towards each other, towards the sea, the nature and preservation of our planet in general. All these are key factors for success and happiness in life and if we can "transfer" only a piece of this experiance to some of you, we have succeeded!
